Dr. Mona Armijo has owned three successful consulting businesses. She also served as the Chief People and Culture Officer for U.S. Special Operations Command and the Navy SEALs/SWCCs. She holds a doctorate in education and knowledge management and has over 30 years’ experience coaching and evolving leaders in government, business, non-profits and education. Her expertise covers organizational change, strategic planning, program management, policy, process improvement, research and data analysis. She is an adjunct professor and dissertation chair at Columbia Southern University and a certified trainer/facilitator. She has led Lean Six Sigma trainings for the U.S. Navy, businesses, and engineers. She is also a FEMA/Homeland Security Exercise Evaluation Specialist (HSEEP). She uses evidence-based business and people strategies to identify and remove barriers, and is committed to advancing organizational excellence. She has published national research related to change management, and has been featured in The Glass Hammer, Hispanic Business Magazine and CSPAN.
